I came across this posting today. A posting on Nancy’s pro-zetatalk discussion board made by one of her followers who asserts that Nancy has been “ALMOST COMPLETLY ACCURATE and ALWAYS TRUTHFUL.”

Apparently, this poster is the admin of the board.

I wonder if he simply overlooked Nancy’s 10 year track record of failed predictions and distorted “facts”? I think not, since it is obvious that he has fallen into the old trap of self-delusion. In this vain it should be quite interesting to observe his eventual fall from Nancy’s grace when he finds out the truth, as the bulk of her followers invariably do.

Case in point, I recall a follower named “Tristan” on Nancy’s TT-Watch who told the story of selling all his belongings and moving into his car before the dreaded May 15, 2003 apocalypse date. Of course, when the “shift” didn’t happen Nancy had nothing to tell him and he picked what he had left of his pride up off the floor and moved on to more interesting things –like the real world.

Nancy is wise not to offer a specific doomsday date on this go-round, but knowing her history I’m willing to bet that she eventually will succumb to the temptation and put one out there.

I can’t wait.

I came across this icon of Nancy Lieder that was used by an “imposter Nancy” on the GodLikeProductions message board on which the real Nancy Lieder is known to post.

I feel it is an astoundingly appropriate icon for the great Zeta Prophet.

Nancy has placed it on her site under the “forgery” section.

Kudos to the illustrator.

A recent statement from a poster on the TT-Watch yahoo group : “…most people figure out after a while that they’ve been had and find better things to do.”

On Tuesday, March 8 Nancy posted an announcement on her tt-watch yahoo group that she has created a pro-zetatalk blog for her seemingly few remaining believers. As she stated: “Strictly for serious discussion, no nay-sayers allowed.”

Nancy later clarified her blog mission with a posting on that service:

“Nevertheless, the premise of this web site is NOT to nay-say, solely, but to discuss what people are observing and concerned about. Nay-saying is being done by NASA, by the White House, was done for 40 years when Hoover was head of the FBI, is still being done re the JFK assassination, is being maintained re the real reasons for going into Iraq (no WMD, etc), and the reason for this blog and forum being here is that while anyone saying things are NOT normal is savagely attacked on all other forums, or radio shows, unless they simlutaneously prat the government line (trust your government, trust NASA, and go into any camps the government sets up), THIS forum will allow such discussion!”

I have to say that I have always found Nancy’s use of the term “savagely attacked” to be charming in a kook sort of way!

I’ve looked into her blog and sure enough I find the remaining core of her diehard believers. Gerard Zwaan and Mike O’Hara are still at it full time. Gerard claims the moon is acting “funny” based on his late night walks, while Mike is busy promoting lists of “known and purposeful disruptors to Nancy’s message or that of the Zetas”.

Everyone needs some kind of hobby, I suppose.
